Boat class
Methodology
A database of reference times for age categories A–M across all boat classes. Data comes from winning times at the World Rowing Masters Regatta and Euro Masters Regatta — the largest and most competitive masters rowing events in the world. Medians are calculated with outliers removed (IQR method), providing a solid foundation for age handicap systems. The site offers a full race archive, category comparisons, and analysis of time differences between age groups.
All times are for the 1000 m distance. The handicap value is the median of winners’ times after removing outliers with the IQR method (1.5×).
